I have always experimented with cameras since getting my first Nikon film camera as a child. Having a child of my own inspired me to learn more about photography and buy my first digital SLR camera. I quickly realised there was more to it than meets the eye and enrolled on a course at Newcastle College to learn how to make the most of my new camera. I studied there from 2012 – 2014 and am now qualified in photography, lighting and digital editing, as well as traditional dark room processes.
As well as expanding my own personal photography portfolio I have provided imagery for Northumbria University’s website and prospectus, and have worked with creative arts magazine The Bleed
My inspiration comes from everything I encounter in life, although I am particularly interested in the work of the legendary Andreas Gursky and pinhole enthusiast Justin Quinnell
